FOR YOUR INFORMATION - KENDAL AAC – ENDMOOR 10K – 24 JUNE 2026 7.30PM START
Kendal AAC organise a 10k race each year starting and finishing in the village. Next year we have chosen 24 June 2026 with a 7.30pm start.
They will be organising a marshal to stand at the junction of Gatebeck Road and Birchfield Road who will stop all cars arriving for the event from parking along this road. All the residents just need to explain to the marshal that they are a resident and they will be waved through. The section of the Gatebeck Road opposite the turning into Birchfield Road will be kept free from all parked vehicles allowing ease of access.
All marshals will be given instructions to ensure that dogs are not taken into the village hall car park and if dogs are seen in that area owners will be asked to remove them.
If there are any issues on the night which residents or members of the Parish Council would like to bring to my attention they should seek out any marshal and he/she will point me out andthey will endeavour to resolve any problems if I am able to do so on the night.
ENDMOOR POST OFFICE GOING TO BE DELIVERED BY MOBILE SERVICES

SPEEDWATCH
'Community Speedwatch' is an initiative which aims to make drivers aware of their speed in the hope they will change their behaviour whilst driving. Volunteers will work in pairs watching selected areas and record the information on speeding vehicles; they will not interact with drivers and will be given training on Speed Detection Devices by the police.Should you wish to join our Speedwatch Team please contact the Parish Clerk 015395 67411
